Join us on for in his steps Sunday to serve our community
On September 28, when we will use our time of worship as a time of serving. There are multiple projects to choose from. We ask that you please register ahead of time due to availability and the capacity of different projects. The projects to choose from are listed below and are subject to change based on availability. There will be on-campus projects for last-minute participants.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us back on campus to celebrate Hope City Church’s anniversary. We will have food, games, water play, and fun for all! We hope to see you all there!

McKinley is a local nonprofit is working to inspire hope in kids and teens through innovative education, counseling, and social services. This will involve two main activities: wrapping toy donation boxes that will be distributed throughout the community, and crafting ornaments for a gift card ornament tree hosted by one of the community partners.

This team will help to install prefabricated split rail fencing in the parking lot of the wilderness park to prevent damage to trees and plants. The City has provided all fence materials, and the team will assist with digging the necessary holes for installation.

Vista Elementary has an outdoor space that needs attention. We will weed, trim, and landscape as we pray for the students and teachers there daily.

We have some congregation members who for various reasons cannot come to church to see us. We want them to be seen and loved and known they are part of our church family, so we will be visiting their homes with encouragement and prayer. Kid Friendly!

We will have teams walking through a few neighborhoods praying specifically for our schools, government, businesses, and people. Prayer warriors and novices welcome!

We're lending a hand to a neighbor with limited mobility by completing a project in their yard. You can expect to dismantle and throw away a garden shed and perform some light gardening work.

This nonprofit works specifically with kids and students in the community to offer support where it might not be present. We'll be working in their community garden to bring back to life some plants that need attention. You can expect to pull weeds, harvest vegetables, fertilize, etc.

If you choose to stay on campus, we have a few options. You could write letters of encouragement to our missionaries around the world. You could pack hygiene packs for Operation Christmas Child. And more! These are all great options for limited mobility. We also have a team revitalizing the volleyball court so our students can use it. Kid friendly!

This team will assemble some care baskets for our first responders and deliver them with a dose of encouragement and prayer along with an invite to our Barbeque! Kid Friendly!
